What does an Online or In-person Session Look Like?

Difference between Online or In Person Sessions

The most relevant difference between an online session vs an in person session will concern how we implement Psych-K processes.

During an in person Psych-K session, you would be experiencing muscle testing to access your higher consciousness and subconscious, which then guide the process of reprogramming the subconscious. When we are working online, we use the help of a pendulum to do the same, instead.

My experiences so far of working with a pendulum have been as easeful and as effective as my in person session.

What is the goal of our sessions?

My work is to help you bridge the gap between your ideal self vs current self or the new you vs the old you. This would the one sentence to describe the goal of a session: to bridge the gap between the new you and the old you.

To be able to do that, I mostly rely on Psych-K Subconscious Belief Change modality; which is, in my opinion, one of the most efficient and fast tools for healing we have available to us.

I also utilize my training as a Heart-Centered Hypnotherapist and my continuous studies in Perinatal Somatic Attachment Repatterning to help you become aware of the core beliefs that might be keeping you stuck in old habitual patterns. Depending on your needs, in any given session we might do more hypnotherapy or somatic work vs Psych-K or it might be the opposite. Every session is uniquely catered towards your needs in that moment and towards the purpose we have identified together.

As part of our work together, you can expect to acquire a few game-changing skills like:

  1. Being Aware of your internal dynamics and external realities that they create.

  2. Tracking your internal dynamics Within Your Body, in your everyday, actual life.

  3. Resourcing yourself in hard moments.

  4. Coming into direct relationship with your Authentic Self, the Essence of who you really are, using your body as your main instrument.

  5. Participating in the Present Moment as your Authentic Self, (again through the use of your body, as well as supportive behaviors).

  6. Practicing into Emotional Regulation (also known as self-regulation) when you get off the track.

  7. Exercising Psychological Flexibility so you can respond to the needs of the actual Present moment so you can live new possibilities and create new futures as opposed to creating more of the same past experiences.

As for the purpose of holding the bigger picture to help us maintain an expanded perspective, while we concentrate on your individual needs, I generally pull from different world traditions, as well as hard and soft sciences that might most resonate with you. The bulk of what you will hear me speak about generally comes from Tantric Yoga philosophy and Tibetan Buddhism; as well as neuroscience, epigenetics, information biology, quantum physics and the evolutionary nature of our lives.

How Does a Session Flow?

Whether online or in person, our sessions start with a brief check-in, during which we understand what the bulk of our work will be around for that day.

Some sessions go much faster to a new clarity of what you might want to experience in your life. When that clarity is available faster, we end up going into Psych-K balances and create a belief change at the subconscious level; earlier in our session. Which then allows us go into either additional supportive belief change work or naming some supportive behaviors that will help you anchor in the change into your new normal.

For the times when clarity isn’t available as fast, we use somatic psychology tools and/or heart-centered hypnotherapy tools to get you more in touch with what’s really going on for you so we can identify and name the real needs and limiting core beliefs behind a challenging life situation. Once the need and what you want to experience instead of the challenge is clear to you, we go back to utilizing Psych-K to do a balance around it.

Reality as Practice

In case you are wondering, yes… I am big on homework and I am big on personal practice. So, towards the end of each session, we will identify practical next steps as homework in between sessions to help you create and stabilize in new beneficial life habits. In this way, your real life is always what we work out of and what we anchor your new ways being into; with the goal of you experiencing well-being and resilience more and more of the time.

If I had to name the one thing that made the most difference in my own healing journey, that was to become a scientist of my own reality… a keen observer of my day to day life, assessing how much of the time i experience well-being and how much of the time do I experience the lack of it. When I started doing this about 10 years ago, I was able to realize that I went into a crisis mode every 3 days or so… which then enabled me to expand the times I experienced well being and pull down my crisis modes over time to once a week, then to once a month… to once every few months… and at this point to once or twice a year, if that.

With my clients, we follow a similar approach of becoming aware of and naming the current reality objectively and working to create a new reality where well-being and thriving becomes increasingly the dominant experience. And thanks for energy psychology modalities I came into in the recent years, I can assure you that your journey won’t take as long as mine did :)

Following such a grounded methodology allows an experience of embodied change that lasts.

Having learned this way of moving through life, you can then continue your growth and expansion in a very grounded and real way. I refer to this as grounded expansion.
